Hayley & Lewis | Dodford Manor Wedding Photography
Hayley and Lewis celebrated their beautiful wedding at the stunning Dodford Manor, with the day starting just a couple of minutes away at the charming Dodford Bed & Breakfast.
The night before and the morning of the wedding were spent there with close friends and family, making it the perfect calm and welcoming space to begin such a special day. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, and the girls had a spacious room to get ready in, complete with a freshly prepared breakfast. With so many beautiful areas around the house, it also gave us plenty of opportunities for relaxed, natural morning photographs.
On what turned out to be the hottest day of the year, we made our way to Dodford Manor for the ceremony.
One of the most unique features of the venue is the private room just behind the ceremony space, where the bride can wait and quietly peek through a small viewing window as guests take their seats — a really emotional and intimate moment before walking down the aisle.
The grounds at Dodford Manor are incredibly spacious, with wide open outdoor areas perfect for drinks, mingling, and portraits in the sun.
Hayley and Lewis added such a fun touch to their drinks reception with a live saxophonist, which brought an amazing atmosphere as guests enjoyed the sunshine and celebrations.
As the day flowed into the evening, the dining room was beautifully styled with elegant white florals and trees, creating a timeless and romantic setting for dinner and speeches.
There was also a deeply emotional moment woven into the day. Lewis’s best man had sadly passed away before the wedding. In his memory, a seat was lovingly reserved for him at the top table, a touching tribute that was felt by everyone there. Lewis’s younger brother Josh stepped in as best man and did an incredible job standing by his side.
As the celebrations continued into the night, Dodford Manor once again delivered one of its signature breathtaking sunsets — the perfect backdrop to end such a meaningful and joyful wedding day.
Marylebone Town Hall Wedding | Chloe & Jamie
Some wedding days just have a certain energy about them from start to finish, and Chloe & Jamie's was exactly that. From getting ready in the heart of London to celebrating with their favourite people back in Northamptonshire, the whole day felt relaxed, fun, and completely true to them.
The morning began at a London hotel, where excitement was building as everyone got ready for the day ahead. There was such a lovely atmosphere from the moment I arrived – plenty of laughter, a few happy nerves, and lots of anticipation for what was to come.
Once everyone was ready, we took a stroll through the London streets to the beautiful Marylebone Town Hall. It's easy to see why so many couples choose to get married here. The iconic steps, elegant architecture, and central London location make it one of the most popular registry offices in the country.
One thing I learned very quickly, though, is that they don't hang around! With multiple weddings taking place throughout the day, couples are given just a few minutes outside for photographs before it's time to make way for the next ceremony. We managed to capture some gorgeous portraits on the famous steps, but before long we were being politely ushered along to keep the day's schedule moving.
After the ceremony, we headed back to the hotel to make the most of the stunning surroundings. Now, I may have been told off for taking photos in the lobby, but when there's a photo opportunity that good, sometimes rules are made to be bent just a little! There was no way we were leaving without getting the lift photo, and honestly, it was worth every second.
With the London part of the day complete, we made our way back to Northamptonshire where the celebrations continued at The Brampton Halt. The vibe all day had been incredible, and the evening was no exception. Friends and family came together to celebrate Chloe & Jamie, and the atmosphere was full of laughter, love, and plenty of dancing.
As the evening unfolded, everyone relaxed into the celebrations and partied the night away. It was one of those weddings where you could genuinely feel how much everyone was enjoying themselves.
One of my favourite details from the day was a little surprise Chloe had planned for Jamie. Throughout the wedding, she had secretly included something just for him, adding a personal touch to their day that made it even more special.
I'll leave you with one question...
Can you spot the surprise in the photos?
Chloe & Jamie, thank you for trusting me to capture such a wonderful day. From the buzz of central London to an unforgettable evening celebration back in Northamptonshire, it was an absolute pleasure to be part of your wedding story. 🤍
Mr & Mrs Rice | Tunnels Beaches Wedding Photography in Devon
The wedding of Mr and Mrs Rice took place at one of my absolute favourite coastal venues — the breath-taking Tunnels Beaches.
Set into the cliffs of North Devon, this venue feels completely private and tucked away from the world, with its own hidden beach, dramatic rock tunnels, and panoramic sea views. It’s the kind of place that never stops giving you incredible backdrops throughout the entire day.
One of the most special parts of this wedding was that their beautiful baby girl was there to celebrate the day with them. Watching her be part of such an important moment made the day feel even more meaningful and full of love — those quiet, inbetween moments often become the most treasured memories.
The day flowed effortlessly between the beach, the venue spaces, and the surrounding coastline. With such an incredible setting, we were able to capture a mix of relaxed documentary moments and more creative portraits without ever needing to go far.
The private beach at Tunnels Beaches is always a highlight. The golden light reflecting off the cliffs, the sound of the waves, and the hidden nature of the space make it feel like your own little world. It’s perfect for natural, unposed couple portraits and family moments by the sea.
Later in the day, we headed up to one of my favourite hidden spots , the rooftop views. From above, you get sweeping views of the coastline, cliffs, and ocean stretching out endlessly behind the couple. It’s one of those locations that feels almost unreal when the light hits just right.
As the sun began to drop, everything softened into warm tones, and the day naturally slowed into those calm, golden evening moments that make coastal weddings so magical.
Mr and Mrs Rice’s wedding was the perfect reminder of why I love photographing at Tunnels Beaches — it’s relaxed, emotional, beautifully scenic, and full of natural storytelling moments from start to finish.
Plum Park Manor Wedding | Mr & Mrs Hooper
If you're looking for a wedding venue that has it all, Plum Park Manor is hard to beat. From the stunning getting-ready spaces to the beautiful grounds and elegant ceremony room, it's a venue that photographs beautifully in every season, but especially on a gorgeous sunny day like Mr & Mrs Hooper's wedding.
One of the things I love most about Plum Park Manor is that you can spend your entire wedding day there. The morning started in the spacious bridal suite, which offers plenty of room for the bridal party to get ready together. It's bright, stylish, and filled with natural light, making it the perfect setting for those special morning moments and all of the finishing touches before the ceremony.
As the morning unfolded, the excitement built, and before long it was time for everyone to gather for the ceremony. Guests were welcomed by the sound of a pianist playing, which created such a lovely atmosphere and added an extra touch of elegance to the day.
The ceremony room at Plum Park Manor is absolutely beautiful. It's bright, airy, and filled with natural light, creating the perfect setting for saying "I do." The large windows and neutral décor make it feel both luxurious and romantic, while also providing the dreamiest light for photographs.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the sunshine while celebrating the newlyweds, and we made the most of the stunning grounds for portraits. One of the best things about Plum Park Manor is the variety of locations available for photographs. Whether it's the elegant manor house itself, the perfectly maintained gardens, the sweeping driveway, or the tucked-away corners around the grounds, there are so many beautiful backdrops to choose from. Every time you turn a corner, there's another perfect spot waiting to be photographed.
We were incredibly lucky with the weather too. The sun shone all day, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces and making the whole venue look even more spectacular.
As the celebrations continued, it was clear just how much thought and care had gone into creating such a wonderful day. From the beautiful setting to the relaxed atmosphere and all the love shared between family and friends, everything came together perfectly.
Mr & Mrs Hooper's wedding was a joy to capture from start to finish. A beautiful couple, a stunning venue, glorious sunshine, and a day full of unforgettable memories—what more could you ask for?
Mr & Mrs Hooper, thank you for allowing me to be part of your wedding day. It was an absolute pleasure to capture your celebrations, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. 🤍
Tunnels Beaches Wedding | Sophie & Karim
When Sophie and Karim first got in touch to ask me to be part of their wedding day, I was absolutely honoured. Not only were they planning a stunning wedding at Tunnels Beaches, but they were travelling all the way from Australia to celebrate with their family and friends. Being trusted to capture such an important day, especially when couples are travelling so far, is always incredibly special.
If you've never visited Tunnels Beaches before, it is such a unique wedding venue. Hidden away on the North Devon coastline, it offers breathtaking sea views, a private beach, and something that many couples don't realise – two beautiful houses that can be booked for the night before and the wedding morning. It's the perfect setup, allowing the boys and girls to get ready separately while still being just moments away from the ceremony.
The morning began at the house, where everyone was getting ready for the day ahead. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was amazing. It was one of those mornings that felt completely relaxed and full of excitement at the same time. There was plenty of laughter, happy anticipation, and a real sense that everyone was simply enjoying being together.
Before long, it was time for the ceremony, and Sophie and Karim were married in front of their loved ones by one of the loveliest registrars I've had the pleasure of meeting. She brought so much warmth to the ceremony and helped create such a personal and meaningful experience for the couple.
Afterwards, we headed down to the beach for some portraits. Although the sun decided to stay hidden behind the clouds for much of the day, it certainly didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Sophie and Karim were completely up for embracing the moment and making the most of their incredible surroundings.
And that's exactly what we did.
Shoes came off, trousers were rolled up, and before long they were running through the water, laughing the whole way. These ended up being some of my favourite moments from the day. There's something so special about couples who aren't afraid to get a little windswept, a little sandy, and fully immerse themselves in the experience. The result? Natural, joyful photographs that perfectly reflect who they are.
As the celebrations continued into the evening, Sophie surprised everyone with a dress change, and I absolutely loved the vibe. It brought a whole new energy to the party and was the perfect look for dancing the night away with family and friends.
The rest of the evening was filled with everything you could want from a wedding celebration – great music, plenty of laughter, happy tears, and a dance floor full of people making memories together.
Sophie and Karim's wedding was such a wonderful reminder that your wedding day doesn't have to be perfectly sunny to be perfect. Sometimes it's the spontaneous moments, the bare feet in the sea, the laughter in the wind, and the people around you that make a day unforgettable
Whatton House Tipi Wedding | Mr & Mrs Smith
Mr & Mrs Smith's wedding day was the perfect combination of heartfelt, stylish, and incredibly well thought out. Beginning with a beautiful church ceremony before moving on to the stunning grounds of Whatton House, every part of the day reflected Alex and Callum perfectly.
The day started at the church, where family and friends gathered to watch Alex and Callum say their vows and officially become husband and wife. There is something so timeless about a church wedding, and theirs was filled with love, emotion, and plenty of smiles as they celebrated the start of their next chapter together.
After the ceremony, everyone made their way to Whatton House, where the most incredible tipi reception awaited them. Set within beautiful grounds and surrounded by stunning gardens, Whatton House provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed yet elegant celebration.
From the moment guests arrived, it was obvious just how much work Alex had put into planning the day. Honestly, she had thought of everything.
Every detail had been carefully considered, not only to make the day beautiful but to make sure their guests had the most amazing experience from start to finish. From the décor to the entertainment, every part of the day felt intentional and completely personal to them.
One of the highlights was the live saxophonist, who brought such an amazing atmosphere to the celebrations. Whether guests were enjoying drinks outside, catching up with friends and family, or making their way onto the dance floor later in the evening, the music added the perfect energy throughout the day.
Then there was the food...
And the desserts!
Alex had clearly put so much thought into every part of the guest experience. Every detail felt carefully chosen, and there was always something exciting happening. It was one of those weddings where you could tell the couple genuinely wanted everyone to have the best time possible, and they absolutely delivered.
Of course, alongside all the beautiful details, we also made the most of the incredible grounds at Whatton House for photographs. The venue offers so many stunning locations for portraits, from the gardens and pathways to the beautiful open spaces surrounding the tipi. Everywhere you look there's another perfect backdrop, making it a dream venue for wedding photography.
As the day turned into evening, the celebrations really came to life. The tipi was filled with laughter, music, and a whole lot of dancing. Guests embraced the party atmosphere, and it wasn't long before the dance floor was packed.
