UK Wedding Venues Worth Considering
Choosing your wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make when planning your day. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to photograph weddings at some amazing venues, each with its own unique style and atmosphere.
Here are some of the venues I love working at and why I would recommend them.
Tunnels Beaches
A dream venue for couples who love the coast. The beach setting, sea views and incredible sunsets make this venue so special. There is something really magical about stepping outside for golden hour portraits with the sound of the waves in the background. If you're looking for a wedding with relaxed beach vibes, this one is hard to beat.
Dodford Manor
A beautiful barn venue with a modern feel. Dodford Manor combines rustic charm with a more contemporary style, and the sunsets here are always amazing. It has a lovely atmosphere and is a venue that photographs beautifully throughout the day.
Plum Park Manor
A venue that has become incredibly popular, and it’s easy to see why. Plum Park Manor really does have everything you could want from a wedding venue, with beautiful spaces both inside and outside. From the elegant interiors to the stunning grounds, there are so many options for photographs throughout the day. It’s a venue that works beautifully whatever the weather and gives couples the perfect mix of style, character and relaxed countryside charm.
The Marylebone
A stunning choice for a London wedding. The architecture and elegant surroundings create such a beautiful backdrop. The only thing to consider is that your wedding breakfast would usually take place at another location, so the photography timeline can be a little tighter. However, it is such a beautiful venue and the London setting adds something really special.
Guildhall Northampton
One of Northampton's most underrated venues. It is honestly so beautiful, with incredible architecture and a really elegant feel. I think it deserves much more recognition as a wedding venue.
Kilworth House
Kilworth House really does have everything. From the beautiful house and gardens to the accommodation, everything can happen in one place. It makes the day feel relaxed and seamless, and there are so many opportunities for beautiful photographs around the venue.
Shustoke Barn
A gorgeous barn venue with so much character. The style and atmosphere make it perfect for couples wanting a classic barn wedding with beautiful surroundings.
Bassmead Manor Barns
A beautiful allrounder. The barns, grounds and overall feel of the venue make it a fantastic choice for couples wanting a relaxed but stylish wedding day.
Hothorpe Hall
Perfect for couples who love a woodland feel. The surroundings are beautiful and give such a natural, romantic atmosphere. It is a lovely venue for relaxed and timeless wedding photographs.
Mulberry House
One of my personal favourites. There are so many different locations around the venue for photographs, which means every wedding gallery feels completely unique. There is always somewhere beautiful to explore.
Tipis at Whatton House
A brilliant choice if you want to create a wedding that feels completely personal. The tipis allow you to really style the space and make it your own. It has such a lovely garden wedding feel and is perfect for couples wanting something relaxed and different.
Stirk House
A stunning venue with so many beautiful details. The bridal suite is especially gorgeous and makes getting ready photographs feel extra special. The whole venue has a lovely elegant atmosphere.
Grendon Lakes
A great choice for couples wanting a chilled, relaxed wedding day. The sunsets here are incredible and make for some beautiful evening photographs. It has a lovely laid-back feel.
The Barns at Hunsbury Hill
Another beautiful location with lots of charm. The surroundings create a gorgeous backdrop for photographs, and it has such a lovely atmosphere for a wedding celebration.
Compton Verney
A venue with incredible space and endless possibilities. The grounds and architecture are amazing, giving you so many options for photographs throughout the day.
Stone Siding Events
A venue that instantly feels welcoming. It has such a relaxed, chilled vibe, and I always love returning here. It is the kind of place where couples and guests can truly enjoy the day.
Little Channels
A beautiful venue with a lovely atmosphere. It has a timeless feel and provides a gorgeous setting for a relaxed and romantic wedding day.
