Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re faced with hundreds of suppliers all promising to make your day incredible. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some truly brilliant people within the wedding industry, and I wanted to put together a list of the suppliers I’ve personally worked with and would be very happy to recommend to my couples.



Cakes & Food

I have to start by saying that I am such a foodie.

Food is something I genuinely care about, and I think it can make or break an event. When it comes to weddings, my biggest piece of advice is do your research when it comes to catering.

Unfortunately, sometimes you put the word “wedding” in front of a booking and suddenly the price seems to increase. That doesn't mean every wedding caterer is expensive or that you shouldn't invest in good food — quite the opposite. Your food is a huge part of your guests' experience, so I absolutely believe in choosing quality. But I also think it's important to compare suppliers, look at what's included, read reviews, ask questions and understand exactly what you're paying for.

Don't be afraid to get quotes from a few different caterers and really compare them. Look beyond the headline price and check things like staffing, crockery, serving, setup, clearing away and any additional costs, because these can make a big difference to the final bill.

And, of course, taste the food! A tasting is one of the best parts of wedding planning in my opinion.
